Position Type: Mon-Fri with rotating weekends 10:30PM-6:30AM, 6:30PM-6:30AM
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, provide direct nursing care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents. You will work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your skills and dedication contribute significantly to the well-being of our residents.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a skilled nursing facility with potential exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
Qualifications:
Licensure: Valid LPN/LVN license in Nebraska or Multistate license
Education: Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on state regulations.
Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and build positive relationships with residents and their families.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move patients, perform physical assessments, and stand for extended periods.
