The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the restaurant dining area to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience. The position oversees front-of-house staff during service, assists with training and scheduling, monitors service standards, and supports restaurant operations during periods of high occupancy and seasonal demand. Duties include: Supervise and coordinate daily dining room operations and front-of-house staff; Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily operational updates; Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest requests and concerns; Ensure compliance with service standards, grooming standards, and sanitation requirements; Assist with staff training and provide direction during service periods; Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wines, cocktails, beers, and daily specials; Coordinate seating flow, reservations, and table assignments; Assist in monitoring inventory levels and operational supplies; Support restaurant opening and closing procedures; Utilize POS systems and assist with operational reporting as needed; and Work closely with culinary and food and beverage staff to maintain efficient service operations.
Anticipated days and hours of work per week and schedule: Workers will work a minimum of no less than 35 hours per week. Open seven days. Work hours of operation are 24 hours per day. Shift hours per week: 5am to 1pm, 6am to 2pm, 7am to 3pm, 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm, 1pm to 9pm, 2pm to 10pm, 3pm to 11pm, 4pm to 12, 10pm to 6am. Shift days and work hours vary.
