Job Description

Job duties would include- Feeding Livestock, doctoring livestock as needed, calving cows, maintaining feed equipment such as tractors and scrapers. Workers will maintain areas to be clean, dry and add salt to ensure non-slip surfaces to reduce injury and improve overall cattle welfare during times of freezing, muddy conditions. Workers will keep manure in barns free from frozen buildup around and water troughs, check and rake sand beds to ensure they are not freezing, plow snow and maintain gravel roads.
