Duties include but are not limited to the following: Examine equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Dismantle defective parts. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation, and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts. Test and replace electrical components. Tune or overhaul engines. Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning. 30-minute lunch break offered; 2 15-minute breaks offered & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
