Duties may include: Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Clean work areas, and maintain grounds & other related Farm Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
