Duties may include: Drive trucks to haul supplies, tools, and other resources to aid in fall harvesting activities. Operate large tractors and wagons taking fertilizer and grain to and from the field. Aid in the fall liquid and dry fertilizer application. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Workers may be required to help maintain livestock facilities while harvesting is taking place by working inside the facilities. Duties may include maintaining and repairing the buildings when necessary and ensuring feed and watering equipment is functioning properly, & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
