We need a seasonal employee to assist with our livestock season. Employee will need to assist with all job duties assigned and related to livestock. Feed and water livestock; monitor feed and water supplies; mix feed, additives, and medications in prescribed amounts; and distribute feed using trucks, tractors, or other farm equipment. Examine animals for signs of illness, injury, disease, or abnormal weight gain. Assist with animal reproduction, including breeding, artificial insemination, and assisting with births. Clean and maintain stalls, pens, livestock areas, and equipment using disinfectants, brushes, shovels, hoses, or pumps. Maintain records of animal growth, feeding, and production, as well as inventories of feed, supplies, equipment, and other materials. Additional job duties may include sandblasting and painting equipment, brush clearing, and tendering. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion.
