Duties may include: Attend to cattle and horses. Duties may include bedding, feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching, and loading cattle. Scraping and hauling manure; hauling feed. Inspect/maintain feeding and cattle equipment. Maintain/repair/clean livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. May maintain records on cattle; examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist in calving; administer medications vaccinations or insecticides as & other related Farmworker, Farm and Ranch Animals activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
