Job duties include caring for cattle by feeding, watering, observing animal health and behavior, moving livestock between pastures and pens, and assisting with routine herd management activities. Workers will inspect existing fences and perform fence maintenance and repairs as needed to safely contain livestock, including replacing or repairing damaged wire, posts, gates, and related fencing components. Additional duties include maintaining livestock facilities, cleaning pens and feeding areas, operating equipment used in livestock operations, and performing other general ranch duties related to the care and management of cattle.
