Background yearling calves; sell yearlings; prepare shelters for calves and cows to protect from winter elements such as sleet, snow, frigid temperatures; break ice in watering facilities; increase nutrient supply to cows and heifers to increase strength; prepare and clean calving facilities; calve cows and heifers; provide adequate winter bedding to calves; provide colostrum to deficient calves at birth; tag calves, brand calves, castrate bulls, dehorn, and implant baby calves within hours of calf birth; drive truck to haul grain; fix machinery and work in shops; breed heifers and cows by artificial insemination; place bulls on cows; turn bulls, bred cows/heifers, and baby calves out to grass pasture for grazing. Must speak and understand English.
