Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, fashion, and repair facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; Drive tractors and other equipment to distribute feed to animals and to move manure/fertilizer; Provide mineral to cattle grazing corn stalks. Winter inspections on equipment, prepping equipment for upcoming season, pressure washing equipment, detailing equipment, winter shop maintenance, little bit of cattle work, pen cleaning and spreading. CDL is not required but recommended. Must speak and understand English.
