Cow/calf operation. Building and maintaining fence. Vaccinating animals. Cutting, bailing, storing, loading hay. Feeding and watering animals. Maintaining feeding structures. Must have 3 months experience operating multiple brands of equipment. Including but not limited to Case IH, John Deere. Operate hay handling equipment such as loaders. Must have experience with animal husbandry. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to work in extreme weather such as freezing temperatures and rain or snow. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, clean work areas, construct facilities, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, regulate conditions, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: bailers and other hay equipment, horseback riding for sorting, caring for livestock, manure spreading equipment, self-proppelled machinery, silage choppers, skid steers, spreaders, swathers, bailers, and other hay equipment, tractors The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Must speak and understand English.
