Crawfishing involves manually cutting of fish bait, baiting traps, operate motorized crawfish boats, traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, traps are re-baited and put back into pond, repair crawfish traps as needed, weigh & tag crawfish, wash & grade crawfish, load/unload trucks; load crawfish in truck and deliver to markets; put out and pick up crawfish traps in ponds; stock crawfish ponds. Rice includes driving tractor, equipment & trucks, field prep, planting and harvesting of rice, fertilizing, assist with loading/unloading rice trucks, must be able to drive vehicles to various farm locations; spraying to maintain vegetation; check fields; maintain rice bins to include clean up rice spills, sweeping rice spills/pins, help repair & maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads; water maintenance.
