Employees will be maintaining cattle herd health. During this period when cattle are confined employees will need to feed the cattle and keep water wells working properly. Builds & cleans corrals/shelters as needed. Vaccinate, administer medication and do pregnancy check cows. Assist with sorting, weighing, branding and low stress handling. Maintain all electric fences, corrals, buildings, improvements and livestock equipment used for proper cattle management and observe safe practices. Must have knowledge of installing and repairing of electric fences and cattle handling. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
