Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals. Shovel snow. Ice remediation using sand and magnesium chloride. Operate snow blowers. Remove accumulated deposits of snow on an ongoing basis in extreme weather conditions on various commercial properties using walk behind electric or gas snow blowers and standard commercial snow shovels. Will not drive snow plow truck. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. May drive crew vehicle. No driver’s license is required as a condition of employment for the position. If the prospective worker already possesses a standard, noncommercial driver’s license they may be asked to drive a vehicle to job sites, as needed. Workers may also assist with indoor work when weather does not allow for snow work, including the following duties: Prepares interior surfaces and mortar to lay brick, block and/or stone. lay brick, block and/or stone and ensures proper tools and equipment needed. Maintains a clean interior job site and workspace by cleaning all tools, equipment, and materials. Cut building materials, such as travertine, ceramic tile, glass tile, stones, or other substances. Prepare worksite and materials using tools such as a wet saw, trowels, and transit levels. Clean interior work areas and equipment to maintain a clean and dust free interior environment.
