Hosts will be responsible for welcoming patrons, seating patrons at tables, and helping ensure quality of facilities and service. Hosts will provide guests with menus, assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings, answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries, receive and record patrons' dining reservations, speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup, inform patrons of establishment specialties and features, maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed, and assist restaurant staff by setting up the coffee station for the next shift. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am - 5:00pm, 12:00pm - 7:00pm, or 2:00pm - 9:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
