Duties: Workers will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness for assigned guest rooms, in an efficient manner. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning the guestroom and bathroom, making beds, changing linens and stocking towels, collecting and disposing trash, replenishing, toiletries, mopping, and dusting. Keep all equipment clean and interact with guests and hotel colleagues as needed. Must have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and/or reach for the duration of the shift, including moving between floors and buildings with large carts and equipment. On-the-job training will not be provided.
Requirements: 3 months housekeeping experience. Must be able to lift 20lbs, work standing up for extended periods of time, stoop to pick up items and clean, and rotate mattresses. Pre-employment Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Test is required and will be administered equally among US and H-2B workers.
Pay Rate: Workers will be paid no less than $16.20/hour. Overtime will be available as needed at a rate of $24.30. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Workers will be paid weekly on Fridays via Direct Deposit. Workers are eligible for seasonal bonuses.
Shifts: Minimum 35 hours per week. Sunday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with 1-2 days off per week. May be required to work weekends and overtime.
