Workers will use mowers with leaf catchers, leaf rakes, brooms for fall cleanup; loppers, pruning shears, and small pole chain saws for pruning. Planting will be done with shovels. Blowers and brooms will be used to perform general maintenance.
Additional duties include installing hardscape features (such as decorative stones, signs, and benches) assisting with irrigation system winterization (blowing out water with pressurized air, replacing broken sprinkler heads) dormant seeding with hand seeders, and maintaining equipment (washing, lubricating, and changing oil).
