Prepares, seasons and cooks soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other miscellaneous food items for consumption. Prepares food in accordance with club recipes and standards. Operates kitchen equipment. Notifies Supervisors of unexpected shortages. Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices. Ensures workstations and equipment are clean and sanitary. Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority. Expedites food by ensuring food temperature is food safety and garnish plates to club and recipe standards. Assemble food on tray and assists in delivering food items ordered. Obtain and Maintain a working knowledge of all food menus including carryout. May be required to perform duties in an outdoor environment and at banquet events. Assist with clean up duties including cleaning kitchen and washing dishes, pots and pans, and other items as necessary in the order for the kitchen to run efficiently and smoothly. Organizes food and pantry items and breaks down boxes and disposes as necessary. Maintains communication with wait staff. Maintains security and safety in work area. Assist with setup and breakdown of action stations, buffet tables, and theme decorations. Work schedule can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed in any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Work hours and shifts may vary.
