Job duties include the following but are not limited to:
Performing of general livestock tasks: feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading animals.
Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries - assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, and or insecticides.
Maintaining winter animal housing areas - using diggers, shovels and other equipment needed.
Weighing trucks.
Assist with maintenance of grain bins and general maintenance of buildings, using lawn mower, weed cutter, small outdoor equipment, and hand tools.
Maintaining records, as required by inhouse management.
