Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to residential buildings, common areas, and facilities within managed communities including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical fixtures (non-licensed work only).
Conduct property inspections, troubleshoot facility issues, and complete repair tasks as assigned by the employer's operations manager.
Perform winter-related maintenance tasks, including snow removal from walkways, entryways, and common areas, and application of de-icing materials.
Assist in maintaining safe access to buildings and community facilities during winter weather conditions.
Perform preventative maintenance to protect property structures and systems during colder weather.
Perform post-winter maintenance and repairs associated with freeze-thaw conditions and seasonal transition of managed properties.
Respond to maintenance service requests submitted through the employer’s property management system in accordance with property management agreements.
Assist in coordinating with vendors and contractors for specialized work.
Operate hand and power tools safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials provided by the employer.
Follow all workplace safety standards and report hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors.
