Perform tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor. Open cans, drums, bags and bins and empty contents of each into the kettle or into holding containers; maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area; read recipes and weigh ingredients according to the specifications of the recipe; measures the brix, consistency, temperature, and pH of products; cook the batches as indicated by the recipes or as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor; and fill out all paperwork and ensure it is appropriately filled out including SSOP forms, product quality forms, QA forms and the daily batch report. Unboxing, labeling, packing and stacking off our kitchen automated line. No education required. On the job training is provided.
