Ranch work. On horseback & foot, incl. but not limited to herding, sorting, calving, castrating, branding, horn tipping, vaccinating, feeding. Controlling predators. Checking & maintaining livestock & pastures, water lines, roads, & fencing. Horse/livestock care incl. but not limited to stall cleaning, feeding, shoeing, training, foaling. Heavy workload during seasonal breeding, calving, foaling, working cattle, training colts, & during drought or other excessive weather conditions. OPEN RANGE. Must be able to lift 50# frequently. Workers work predominantly (90+%) on range activities which include working cattle & sheep, herd management, checking health, changing pastures, etc. on range NOT near headquarters and are required to be available 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.

Employees will be provided with all tools, supplies, & equipment (without charge) as required by law incl. cell phones (at no charge or deposit).
Electronic communication: Cell phone service is very good throughout the ranch and workers will be contacted at least once/day (mid-day) to verify well-being. Workers will also be checked on/accounted for when they return to housing at night.
