Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, communicate changes promptly, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Respond effectively to clinical changes and emergencies while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Support care for patients with neurological and cardiac conditions in accordance with established clinical standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure eligible for practice in California.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Cerner experience required.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with CVA (cerebrovascular accident) patients.
• Experience with intracranial bleeds.
• Pre- and post-neurosurgery experience.
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills.
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Telemetry experience.
• ICU/ED experience required.
• Ventilator management and conscious sedation experience required.
