Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care to patients in an ICU/telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support emergency response and promote patient safety throughout the assignment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for the assignment.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with Cerner charting preferred.
• Care of ventilated patients.
• Continuous IV sedation.
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• ICP monitoring required.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Management of dysrhythmias.
• Starting and maintaining IVs.
