Position Details

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient status, communicate changes promptly, and document care accurately.
• Support emergency interventions and promote patient safety throughout the assignment.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• CCRN certification
• CPI certification
• MAB certification
• NIHSS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Experience with any charting system
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Management of dysrhythmias
• IV therapy and phlebotomy
• Central line care and management
• Administration and management of IV vasopressors
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Triage
• Trauma Level II or III experience
