Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive nursing care for patients in an ICU/telemetry setting.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer treatments and medications according to orders and applicable standards.
• Document patient care accurately using the designated charting system.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure appropriate for practice in California.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Care of ventilated patients.
• Continuous IV sedation.
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• ICP monitoring (required).
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Starting and maintaining IVs.
• Experience with Cerner charting is preferred.
