Requirements & Skills

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Alabama
• Proven experience in Emergency Department nursing preferred
• Ability to perform rapid assessments and respond effectively to emergency situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Capacity to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting with a range of emergency conditions
• Perform thorough and timely patient assessments to prioritize treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment adhering to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Department or similar acute care setting preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Compassionate care provider with excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and calm

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $53.00 to $63.00, reflective of experience and qualifications.
