Requirements & Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and/or Medical-Surgical nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER and Medical-Surgical units
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes in their status
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to established protocols
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Valid RN license for South Dakota
• Experience in ER and/or Med Surg nursing preferred
• Current BLS certification, ACLS certification advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $55.00 to $65.00
