Shovel, throw, push, and remove snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, driveways, parking areas, and other hard surfaces at commercial, institutional, and residential properties. Spread salt and other deicing materials, including rock salt and calcium-based products, by hand or with hand-operated spreaders before, during, and after snow and ice events. Use hand shovels, snow throwers, brooms, salt spreaders, and other related hand tools to perform snow and ice removal services. Clean and maintain snow removal equipment, tools, and company vehicles, including washing equipment and trucks with power washers and soap. When snow and ice removal services are not required, operate Honda 37-Ton Log Splitters equipped with 4-Way Wedges to split firewood. Sized wood for splitting. Load, unload, transport, stack, and organize firewood by hand for delivery to residential customers and end users. Ride as a passenger in company dump trucks traveling to assigned worksites. Use wheelbarrows, shovels, gloves, brooms, and other related hand tools to move, stack, and organize firewood. Clean work areas upon completion of firewood deliveries and services. Perform all duties outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work schedules and start times may vary based on the unpredictable nature of snow, ice, and weather-related events. Workers must be available to perform the duties described throughout the entire period of employment and travel throughout the employer's designated service areas. Perform all other related duties as assigned by the employer.
