Workers will pick, plant, weed and harvest Strawberries. Workers will perform a variety of manual labor tasks including but not limited to production and harvesting activities. Workers must perform manual labor tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Weeding will be required as needed (employer abies by California Code Regulations at Title 8, Section 3456). Harvest fruit by hand. Clean work areas and maintain grounds. Dig, cut, and transplant seedlings. Dig, rake, and screen soil, filling cold frames and hot beds in preparation for planting. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Plant, prune plants, shrubs, using gardening tools. Measure, weigh, and count products and materials. Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools. Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
The employer will provide training for a minimum of 3 days.
