Shift & Schedule

• Day Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Therapy/Rehabilitation
• MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study) certification – Required
• Experience working in Acute Care settings
• No travel experience required

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech therapy evaluations and assessments for patients in an acute care environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ speech, language, and swallowing function
• Utilize MBSS certification to perform instrumental swallow assessments accurately and safely
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to promote holistic patient care
• Document patient progress thoroughly in compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals, therapeutic techniques, and expectations

Qualifications

• Valid and current licensure as a Speech Therapist or equivalent credential
• Proven expertise in acute care speech therapy rehabilitation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently while managing a full caseload efficiently
