Perform seasonal winter property maintenance services at the employer's shop and at residential and commercial customer properties. Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, entryways, stairs, ramps, and other pedestrian access areas primarily by hand using shovels, snow pushers, ice chippers, and similar hand tools. (40% of time will be focused on these tasks) As an incidental part of snow removal duties, operate employer-provided pickup trucks equipped with front-mounted snowplows to clear designated driveways, access lanes, and small parking areas. (10% of time will be focused on these tasks) Apply salt, sand, and other de-icing materials to maintain safe pedestrian and vehicle access. (15% of time will be focused on these tasks)
Perform winter property cleanup by removing storm debris, fallen branches, leaves, and other seasonal debris from customer properties. (12% of time will be focused on these tasks)
Load, unload, transport, and store hand tools, snow removal equipment, de-icing materials, and other supplies used in winter property maintenance. (5% of time will be focused on these tasks) Clean and organize the employer's shop, storage areas, tools, and equipment. Wash and clean company vehicles, trailers, and snow removal equipment. (4% of time will be focused on these tasks)
Perform routine operator maintenance of company vehicles and snow removal equipment, including fueling, checking and replenishing fluids, lubricating moving parts, inspecting tire pressure, replacing worn cutting edges on snowplows, and reporting mechanical problems. Duties are limited to routine preventative operator maintenance and do not include diagnosing mechanical failures or performing mechanical repairs. (4% of time will be focused on these tasks)
