Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Load/unload trucks. Drive farm trucks, farm tractors to haul grain from field ag bags and farm site grain bins to elevators. Clean field ag bags. Maintain/repair farm equipment and machinery, overhaul motors, general maintenance. Maintain/clean shop area, including tools and parts. Remove snow and ice on farm site as needed. Basic livestock care; monitor health during cold winter months, haul feed and water. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Crops: Wheat, sunflowers, oats, corn, milo & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
