Requirements and Skills

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Experience or interest in Medical-Surgical nursing care
• Ability to provide compassionate, team-oriented patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with healthcare teams
• Basic knowledge of patient safety and infection control protocols
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and daily living tasks

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support the medical-surgical nursing team by ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment
• Assist with patient mobility and positioning to prevent complications
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain patient hygiene and adhere to infection control standards
• Document patient care and observations accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care

Qualifications

• Must be a certified and current CNA with proof of certification
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred but not required
• Ability to comply with HIPAA and maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Reliable transportation to Hettinger, ND location

Compensation: Hourly rate of $31.00 to $36.00
