Shift Information

• 12-hour night shifts
• Shift hours: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Requirements and Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively during night shifts with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum care to women and newborns.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe deliveries.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding the childbirth process and newborn care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations in the labor and delivery unit.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of California.
• Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation: Hourly rate range of $75.00 - $89.00
