We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dynamic healthcare team. Shift Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Requirements & Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Experience and clinical competence in Labor & Delivery nursing
• Strong assessment skills in maternal and fetal monitoring
• Ability to manage labor progress and provide supportive care throughout delivery
• Proficiency in emergency response and neonatal resuscitation techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and evidence-based practice standards

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, utilizing electronic fetal monitoring equipment effectively
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery procedures
• Educate and support patients and families regarding labor processes and newborn care
• Document all patient care accurately and timely according to established protocols
• Respond promptly to obstetrical emergencies and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Current California RN licensure
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Labor & Delivery nursing preferred
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and/or Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
• Dedication to continuous professional growth and quality patient care
