Requirements & Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
• Proven experience in Obstetrics and Labor & Delivery nursing
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills specific to maternal and newborn care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to support patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in high-pressure delivery and emergency situations
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages
• Monitor fetal wellbeing and maternal vital signs continuously, recognizing and responding to any complications
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe delivery outcomes
• Educate patients and families on prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, including newborn care practices
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Adhere to infection control policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards at all times

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Wisconsin
• Previous experience in Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery nursing strongly preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical settings
• Compassionate approach and dedication to patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $66.00 - $79.00
