Requirements & Skills

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (CCTV, RCIS, or equivalent)
• Proficient in operating and maintaining cath lab equipment and technologies
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures
• Ability to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Adherence to infection control and safety standards
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory and equipment for each procedure
• Assist cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide necessary support during procedures
• Perform diagnostic imaging and interpret preliminary findings under physician supervision
• Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
• Document procedural details accurately and timely in patients’ medical records
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the cath lab

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or related field preferred
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate between $75.00 - $89.00, with weekly pay through Quick2Hire staffing agency.
