Requirements and Skills

• Certification as a CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
• Proven experience in performing CT imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of CT equipment operation and safety protocols
• Ability to prepare patients for imaging procedures and answer their questions professionally
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control policies
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans following established protocols while ensuring patient safety
• Operate and maintain CT equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
• Position patients accurately to capture diagnostic images and explain procedures to alleviate patient concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate imaging services
• Maintain detailed records of procedures and patient information in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and manage radiation doses in accordance with safety policies
• Participate in quality assurance and continuing education activities to stay current with advances in CT technology

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current licensure, certification, or registration as required by state regulations
• Experience working in a clinical environment performing CT imaging procedures
• Strong professional ethics and commitment to patient care excellence
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Compensation: Hourly rate between $75.00 and $89.00, with weekly pay through Quick2Hire staffing agency.
