Requirements & Skills

• Proficiency in interventional radiology procedures and vascular imaging techniques
• Strong understanding of IR equipment, safety protocols, and sterilization standards
• Exceptional patient care and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and technologists
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of radiologic anatomy and ability to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate IR imaging equipment for vascular and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians by providing high-quality imaging support during minimally invasive vascular interventions
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and equipment usage
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies at all times
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and procedural efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on imaging equipment

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or IR technologist program
• Valid certification and licensure as required by state and professional bodies
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or vascular imaging preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $78.00 - $92.00
