Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift | David City, NE

We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team through the Quick2Hire staffing agency. Shift Information

• 12-hour Night Shifts
• Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Requirements and Skills

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Nebraska
• Strong clinical skills in providing direct patient care
• Ability to accurately administer medications and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Competency in monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes
• Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
• Capability to work effectively during night hours and within a team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with the care plans and physician orders
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, promptly reporting any changes
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed patient documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Current LPN license valid in Nebraska
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
