Shift / Schedule

Requirements & Skills

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Proven experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress environments effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care delivered to emergency patients
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform clinical procedures with adherence to safety protocols
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during emergent situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening emergencies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
• Valid RN license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience in an Emergency Room or similar critical care unit
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care in a rapid-response environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate: $55.00 - $65.00
