We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team in the 2E Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). Shift & Schedule

• Position: Full-time ICU RN
• Shift: To be discussed based on unit needs
• Schedule: Variable, typically includes days, nights, or weekends in ICU settings

Requirements & Skills

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical skills to manage critically ill patients
• Ability to operate advanced medical equipment used in the ICU
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• BSN degree or equivalent preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill surgical patients in the SICU
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely as per physician orders
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with policies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and treatment options
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in the ICU environment
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing
• Critical care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Strong dedication to patient advocacy and quality care
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress critical care setting

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, paid weekly through Quick2Hire staffing agency.
