Requirements and Skills

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Proven experience in intensive care or critical care nursing
• Strong knowledge of ICU protocols, procedures, and standards
• Exceptional patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress and fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the SICU, including monitoring, assessment, and treatment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Use advanced clinical skills to operate and interpret data from ICU equipment and monitors
• Respond promptly and effectively to patient emergencies and changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment options, and recovery processes
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1-2 years ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly recommended
• Demonstrated ability to handle critical situations with professionalism and empathy
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Compensation: Hourly Rate $63.00 - $74.00
