Required Skills and Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
• Strong clinical skills in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby care
• Ability to monitor and manage maternal and neonatal patient care effectively
• Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based nursing care
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical setting

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby units
• Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs, identify any signs of distress, and intervene appropriately
• Assist with labor processes, including fetal monitoring and support during delivery
• Educate and support patients and families regarding postpartum care and newborn care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compassionate care environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Previous experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother-Baby nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred or required
• Strong patient advocacy and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative healthcare setting

Compensation and Benefits
