Shift / Schedule

Requirements and Skills

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in Emergency Room nursing or acute care settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation
  • Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and facilitate patient stabilization

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in accordance with state requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred
  • Certifications in BLS and ACLS required or must obtain within a specified timeframe
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and safety
