Requirements and Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
• Proven experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide compassionate and effective patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in the Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, direct patient care to individuals experiencing acute medical emergencies
• Perform thorough assessments and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to all hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge plans as appropriate

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Experience working in an Emergency Room setting preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to handle high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism
