Requirements & Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
• Previous ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• CPR/BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and clinical interventions
• Support patient and family education related to treatment plans and health management
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year experience in emergency nursing or related acute care setting preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification a plus
• Exceptional clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize care effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
