Requirements & Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Previous ICU experience preferred, demonstrating proficiency in critical care nursing practices
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to operate ICU medical equipment and technology
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, documenting changes accurately and promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and maintain ICU diagnostic and monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Respond swiftly and effectively to life-threatening situations and emergencies
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to an RN license
• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Nebraska
• Demonstrated experience in intensive care nursing
• CPR and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00
